Denno Coil (2007) - Predicted Google Glass/ Meta Raybans
Ghost in the Shell / Koukaku Kidoutai (TV) (Movies + Series) - relaunched again this month - Cyber based anime (the Scarlett Johansson version changed the manga backstory)

Sousou no Frieren - Good story even if your not into anime
Made in the Abyss - Seriously disturbing for a number of reasons...but also an amazing anime
