"73","What would you consider key developmental milestone for Jitasa Employees? I think some of the biggest developmental milestones a person can have is when they can have a call with a client and not need to “put a pin” in the question for later. It usually means that they finally have a strong understanding of how everything with the financials flows together and how to look up transactions. This time frame can vary from person to person. The first time I was able to present everything to the client with no help gave me a huge confidence boost that I was on the right track. In your opinion, what is the difference between customer service, and internal employee service? I think the overall function is the same but how it is approached is different. Both need to be handled in a prompt and professional way. I think for good customer service you should get to know the client personally but always have that separation that you are there to do a service for them. With internal employee service the separation is not really there. You see these people everyday and get to know them the relationship becomes more casual. With a customer I want to make sure the job is done and it is correct. Internally I want to make sure that the reason behind why it is done is understood. Clients tend to not care why something is done the way it is done, more how to get it done.Based on what you know about Jitasa U, how would you determine course development priority? I think that the development priority depends on what you are doing day to day. New hires are generally given less jobs to do right away so they can spend more time going through the training programs. Perhaps financial reviews and some journal entries are going to be top of the list of things to review. End of the year items can be put on the back burner until November or December. The priority depends on what your job is and what the client is going to be looking for from you right away. I know that I will go through end of year items to give myself a refresher, because things can be forgotten throughout the year.","","","Renee Rummler","122","Renee Rummler deal","120","2021-02-22 17:24:34","2021-02-22 17:24:34","Recruiting Team","No","No","No","","","No","",""
"74","What would you consider key developmental milestone for Jitasa Employees? Key developmental milestones for Jitasa Books and Accounting employees would include successfully taking over day-to-day communication with a client(s), leading a review call, being able to find the answer to their own question, reviewing and correcting financials statements, reaching a designated % of GDT utilization, and asking a questions, but presenting potential solutions or answers as part of the question.Any point where they exhibit mastery of our key dimensions/skills which would include task-management and delegation, time-management and prioritization, accounting expertise, communication, customer service, and problem solving, among others.I also think the most important of these milestones will vary from person to person. If someone comes in with a strong customer service background, I’d say their developmental milestone for communication/customer service is less significant than one we’re not so sure they exhibit, like delegating enough work to our GDT group. In your opinion, what is the difference between customer service, and internal employee service? I think the difference is the level of understanding you have to reach internally. I treat my clients and my employees similarly when trying to explain accounting ideas or transactions to them with 2 major differences; 1. I assume the employee has more than a basic understanding of accounting, and 2. I look for confirmation of understanding, not just in the transaction we’re discussing, but why I treat it one way versus another using underlying accounting principles. With a client I explain things as thoroughly as I would with an employee, but I let the client decide if they want to ask more clarifying questions or ask for more detailed understanding. I assume with the client, I will answer a similar question in the future, but with the employee I try to empower them to answer this question on their own in the future. In other words, I help a client with the stated need/question, but internally I want to instill a deeper understanding that will serve them in the future in different situations.Based on what you know about Jitasa U, how would you determine course development priority? I think it’d likely have to be based on what is most relevant/important to the most people, though I’d make sure not to let less pressing courses get swept under the rug. There also seems to be a need for separate trainings for indies versus BSA in a lot of instances because we function so differently, so I’d also make sure we’re not focusing on one team over the other. "76"," What about this position interests you? Role seems to be how to complete work and and train others how to complete work. I've really enjoyed training my team how to complete their work. I really enjoy teaching others how to do things. 4 GDT staff overseas and 21 clients GDT Staff - Currently doing emails, opening up weekly phone calls.Anything about this job that you're afraid of? What does the day to day look like? What about this position interests you over your current career path? Client work is fine, but after doing it for so long I'm ready for a real mental shift in what I'm doing. Find a new aspect to actually tackle. What else can I do at Jitasa that would remove me from the client facing mode.Other roles at Jitasa that would be interesting to you? Molly's role.
